John Rocha seems to keep the element of surprise well hidden under his belt when it comes to his LFW shows, at his autumn 2009 fashion show he has once again managed to deliver a delightful collection with soft tailoring and a great mix of fabrics. The colour palette varies between black, metallic and neutral nude shades. He also varied his use of fabric from tweed and mohair to silk and lace. His collection seems to capture the mood of our time, his jackets and coats are softly tailored with feminine looking shoulders and shoulder pads. A refreshing collection with a great sense of understanding to fabric, form, structure, style and comfort.
