DAKS AW17 Catwalk Review

For autumn/winter 2017, DAKS reinvents women’s tailoring by blending androgynous styles with feminine touches.

Classic Prince of Wales checks are teamed with deep royal blue wool and see through lace, and finished with meticulous details which, includes fine embroideries.

The colour palette is a mixture between deep royal blue, dark navy and grey, with big emphasis on metallic silver accessories.  Fluid Floral prints make an appearance in this collection too, and are worn with contrasting checks and wool.

On the whole, DAKS’s collection embodies the perfect working woman’s wardrobe; it’s modern, practical, and super stylish.

Paul Costelloe AW17 Catwalk Review

Paul Costelloe’s autumn/winter 2017 collection is reminiscent of Tudor splendour and craftsmanship.

The show opened with a magnificent display of silk jacquards and beautiful structured quilts. Thick elegant tweeds worn over skinny shiny leggings teamed with bold laced ankle boots.

Extravagant tailoring combined with beautiful feminine details on sleeves and shoulders are just few of the beautiful designs on show.

In addition to tweed, wool and cotton, we also saw some great pieces of beautiful evening pieces which included stunning see through numbers and an elegant silver metallic trousers suit.

FEBRUARY 2017 HOROSCOPES BY STILORAMA’S ASTROLOGER KENNY CORRIS

Wednesday, February 1st, 2017
FEBRUARY 2017 HOROSCOPES

FEBRUARY 2017 HOROSCOPES

Aries:   The mid-month Uranus retrograde sees the mighty planet en route across the Cosmos once more. As planet of technology expect minor disruptions with domestic routines and devices, and some irritating delays to boot. Not a good time to make plans or to expect things to be as they really are, or should be!

Taurus:   Scorpio, your planet of opposition, is nicely connected with wily Saturn and ready to take on actions with a renewed vigour. Now is the best time to work around a new scheme, and to see if you fancy a change after all, because right now the grass really has started to look greener on the other side.

Gemini:   Mercury Directs bringing timbre to a relationship shake up and momentum into your very specific wants and needs right now. You are standing on the edge of progress and compromise is a word that has never suited you. Make no mistake, this month serves to show you where all this could take you.

Cancer:   Jupiter brings good fortune, and luck is with you throughout a busy, if not chaotic month, ahead in anything you are brave enough to take on. There has been a lot of talking but relatively little action and now is the best shot you have as the rest of your plans seem to be steering you in another direction.

Leo:    As you plan your escape route first be sure that you don’t make moves you may just live to regret in the near future. Time is on your side right now, but it is important that you take a long hard look at what you have already achieved as this should be your focus right now Hard work ahead will bring dividends.

Virgo:   Stirred by Mercurian energies and protected by Saturnian powers you have your cake and you can eat it too if you play your cards right. So much preparation has taken up your time as of late and now there is a clear way forward that will bring you back to reality and better show you how to turn things around.

Libra:   The need to resolve and bring balance comes as no surprise, what is required now is for you to see things from further afield and to take the pressure off once and for all. Whilst things aren’t as bad as you think they are, still you have to know that your positive actions are unearthing a new you!

Scorpio:    Saturn with infinite wisdom and clairvoyance is seeing a clear way forward. Just about everything has happened to make you feel that any move you make is going to bring you the changes and the breath of spring air that you need right now. Cling to the faith that surrounds and supports you.

Sagittarius:   Something could be dismissed right now as just a take on, but in reality it is preparing you somewhat for the main event. You can feel something is holding you back, but also that not all is known to you about something you feel could be very much more important than you first thought it could be.

Capricorn:   Protected by Pluto and squared by Mars why does there have to be a song and dance whenever you want to bring in your point of view? There is more to all that has happened than first meets the eye and they say that the leopard cannot change his spots; but maybe he doesn’t want to? Stay focussed!

Aquarius:    Arian energies blend perfectly with your current mood. It seems as if there some conflicts across the Cosmos with your planetary leader and that these have to be addressed to bring you your peace of mind. As Uranus plans on a prolonged retrograde take time to enlist for the support you need.

Pisces:    Mighty Neptune serves to boost your conscious energies, helping to show you just where you are in the current scheme of things. You are non-judgmental and inspiring to others as you are capable of blending your spiritual gifts just when they are needed by others……like now for instance!
