H&M to Collaborate with Maison Martin Margiela
Are you as excited as I?
H&M stores are well known for their one-off collaborations with top ranking designers including the likes of Marni, Versace and Stella McCartney. However it has recently been rumoured that Maison Martin Margiela will be targeted as the next designer to collaborate with the popular store.
And now rumours have been confirmed, the Swedish retailer is said to produce a collection with Maison Martin Margiela ready for Autumn Winter 2012 which will launch on the 15th of November 2012. The designer in question has been very discreet in withholding information, refusing to take interviews or disclose any further info to the eager public. Needless to say he was keeping us in suspense, but we’re excited!
Martin who previously worked under Jean Paul Gautier in his earlier days before bringing out his own collection, has become a rising star in the fashion industry bringing out beautiful and popular collections such as his Spring 2012 Ready-To-Wear Collection which featured floor length skirts and a lot of leather; brilliant.
What will we be expecting from this collection? Something spectacular no doubt!
