Blue, Pink and Purple Ombre Hair Trend
Head banging, crowd surfing, and hang over’s might not be every ones cup of tea, but this season everyone seems to agree on one thing: coloured hair is cool. Blue and pink hair is usually a trend secured for musicians, editorials, and anarchists, but this season everyone wants’ to let their inner rock star shine and they are doing it through their hair. Colour is everywhere from Kate Bosworth’s blue ombre, to Nicole Richie pink ombre hair, even 79 year old Joann Rivers has been experimenting with pink streaks. Narciso Rodriguez had his models in blue hues for the showing of his spring collection; while Odile Gilbert’s models hair were bright pink, blue, and dark green. It’s refreshing to see designers, and celebrities break down barriers of what’s conventional, and take fun risks with fashion, but just like the summertime, this very colourful, nonchalant trend won’t last long, dye your hair while you still can!
