Spring 2012 Neon Trend
This summer, neon clothes and accessories are bigger and brighter than ever. Lime green, hot pink and citron yellow shades seem to be everywhere this season from runaways to A-listers.
The easiest way to include neon into your wardrobe is through accessories. Handbags, belts, shoes, scarves and jewellery are the easiest way to add a touch of colour to your outfit.
Thinking about neon, the best combination would be a mix of neutrals with neon accents. One of my favourite designers this season for wearing neon is Nanette Lepore. Her collection presented at NY Fashion Week for spring 2012, left me speechless. The effect showed on the runaway was definitely charming and sometimes abrasive.
From orange skirts and yellow tops to blue dresses with pink highlights, and from neon swimsuits to bright neon shoes, this collection is so fresh and the colour palette and combination is just amazing.
